The Salvation Army Children’s Shelter

The Salvation Army Children’s Shelter serves children birth through age 17 that have been placed by the Missouri Children’s Division (MCD) after investigation into abuse/neglect hotline allegations that determined the home was unsafe or at the point of a foster/kinship disruption. Families can also place their children voluntarily through Crisis Care as a preventative service. The most common crisis resulting in placement is domestic violence.
