The mission of Citizens of the World Kansas City is to provide an excellent public education focused on developing and demonstrating understanding while building connections within a diverse community. Our school is part of the national Citizens of the World network, tuition-free schools open to all, committed to serving diverse communities with schools currently in Los Angeles and Kansas City. Citizens of the World Charter Schools challenge students to realize their full potential and thrive in a diverse society. Currently, CWCKC serves nearly 550 students in grades K-7. Support from the Children’s Fund of Jackson County supports CWCKC’s investment in deeper social-emotional support for students and intervention for children facing trauma and adversity.
