Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center (EFCDC) is a 32-year-old organization providing early childhood and afterschool care to children ages birth to 13-years-old as well as wrap around and emergency services. EFCDC serves low-income children of color who may otherwise lack access to high quality early education and out-of-school care. EFCDC is prioritizing the adoption of a trauma-informed continuum of care to help families build resiliency and remediate the negative impact of trauma on their children.
