Hope House’s mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing safe refuge and supportive services that educate and empower those impacted by domestic violence. The agency offers a full spectrum of services through two agency-owned campuses in Independence and Lee’s Summit and outreach offices in Independence and Blue Springs. Hope House employs Child & Family (CF) advocates who work directly with children and youth who have been exposed to domestic violence to give them an opportunity to play and have fun in a safe environment while also healing from the effects of domestic violence.
