Jackson County CASA recruits and trains volunteers to serve as the voice in court for children in foster care. Jackson County CASA is one of nearly 1,000 CASA programs nationwide and is the largest program in the State of Missouri with over 1,250 children served annually by 350+ active volunteers and a staff of 27. In addition to advocacy on behalf of the children, Jackson County CASA collaborates with community partners to ensure that the children are receiving and benefitting from critical treatment to reduce the effects of the victimization and trauma they have endured.
