The mission of Jewish Family Services (JFS) is to support and strengthen the Kansas City community by providing essential programs and services for individuals and families coping with crises and life’s everyday challenges. JFS’ outpatient mental health services have been providing accessible, affordable outpatient psychotherapy to Jackson County individuals and families since the 1940s. The target population for this project is low-income, uninsured, or underinsured children and their families dealing with a mental health condition that creates distress or impacts functioning.
