KC Healthy Kids (KCHK) mission is to advance children’s health by increasing opportunities for healthy eating and active living (HEAL). Using multiple strategies and broad partnerships, KC Healthy Kids addresses the breadth of environmental issues that influence the ability of families and children to live healthy lifestyles. Healthy Kids Bright Futures (HKBF) supports low-income families with children ages 0-3 in early care and education centers in Jackson and Wyandotte counties by creating a comprehensive, community-based system of support that increases family well-being and improves and coordinates early childhood services for families.
