Katherine Rivard, LMSW

Program Officer

Katherine is excited to partner with direct service providers to improve the lives of children in Jackson County. Katherine’s professional background includes public policy development and advocacy, community planning and implementation, volunteer engagement, grant writing and program administration. She has worked on issues in the early childhood, youth development, higher education and aging arenas with a focus on enhancing access to services and improving quality. As the assistant director of a nonprofit membership organization, she guided investments in early childhood through post-secondary education from the CEOs of Kansas City’s largest corporations. Katherine holds a master’s degree in social work and is licensed as an LMSW.
