Rob Whitten, NCC/LPC
With undergraduate and graduate degrees in clinical psychology, as well as being a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, Rob began his work in the children’s services arena as a therapist working with adolescents. Over time he moved from direct practice to clinical leadership before becoming the chief executive for two treatment centers providing services to children, youth and young adults. Rob has a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and has worked for over a decade to increase the community’s capacity around trauma-informed care and resilience. As a past service provider, he understands many of the challenges faced by the organizations who seek support from the Children’s Services Fund and is eager to partner with them as they pursue their mission to improve the lives of children in Jackson County.
