Sue Richter

As a “homegrown” Kansas-Citian, Sue welcomes the opportunity to serve the children of Jackson County. Prior to joining the fund, Sue spent 20 years working in the corporate sector. Her responsibilities included managing start-up operations for a large telecommunications company in both finance and information technology. A decision to leave the corporate world allowed Sue to transfer her skills to overseeing the central business office that supported five local child-serving organizations. As the operations manager for the fund, Sue provides support to partners, vendors and the team in all areas of its business operations, such as staffing, purchasing, procurement, contracts and finance. Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rockhurst University.
